Limitations on the Number of Issues and Renewals for Microloans

Under current legislation, there are limitations on the number of microloan issues and renewals. These limitations depend on the issue date, loan amount, term, and credit category.


Limitations on the Number of Renewals

Verification Conditions

  1. Verification is based on the contract issue date (not creation date).

  2. The limit is set for microcredits:

    • Determined by the CB loan category in the credit product.
    • All categories are considered microcredits, except POS.
    • If the category is not specified, the contract is considered a microcredit.
  3. Determining loan parameters:

    • Issue amount.
    • Term (planned repayment date minus planned issue date).

Limits by Dates and Conditions

  • For loans with issue date from 01.07.2017 to 01.04.2018:

    • Amount: from 3000 to 30000 rubles (inclusive).
    • Term: from 7 to 30 days.
    • Maximum number of renewals: 7.
    • Maximum number of issues: 10.
  • For loans with issue date from 01.04.2018 to 01.01.2019:

    • Amount: from 3000 to 30000 rubles (inclusive).
    • Term: from 8 to 30 days (inclusive).
    • Maximum number of renewals: 6.
    • Maximum number of issues: 10.
  • For loans with issue date after 01.01.2019:

    • Amount: from 3000 to 30000 rubles (inclusive).
    • Term: from 8 to 30 days (inclusive).
    • Maximum number of renewals: 5.
    • Maximum number of issues: 9.

Note: When counting the number of renewals, only renewals lasting more than 2 days (starting from 3 days) are considered.


Additional Conditions

  1. Restructuring:

    • Restructuring is also considered a renewal if the interest rate remained the same or increased.
    • The entire chain of loans for the client is checked, taking into account restructuring and subsequent renewals on the restructured contract.
  2. Uploaded contracts:

    • For previously uploaded contracts, when counting past renewals, the value in the "prevProlongationsQty" field is taken into account.

Limitations on the Number of Issues

Verification Conditions

  1. Verification when creating a new contract:

    • It is determined whether the contract is a microcredit (by the CB loan category in the credit product).
    • The contract creation date is checked to determine the limitation range:
      • After 01.07.2017.
      • After 01.04.2018.
      • After 01.01.2019.
  2. Period consideration:

    • The period from the contract creation date minus 365 days is considered.
    • The number of contracts issued during this period for the client is checked.
  3. Contract consideration conditions:

    • It must not be a restructuring.
    • It must be a microcredit (loan category is not specified).
    • The issue date must be starting from 01.07.2017.

Implementation in Brainysoft Software

In Brainysoft software, there is a system directory "Information on configured limits for renewals and issues". It displays data on the limitation of the maximum number of loan issues and the number of renewals per year. This directory is closed for editing.
