Brainysoft Collateral Handling Guide

This guide provides a detailed description of working with the Collateral section. Clicking the Collateral button opens a list page with collateral items, allowing you to search and view existing collateral, as well as create new ones.

To search for existing collateral, select a search criterion and enter the data.

Creating new collateral.

Clicking the Create New Collateral link opens a window with fields to fill in: Name, Document, Detailed Description, Appraised and Collateral Values, Collateral Type and Pledgor, Collateral Properties.

Required fields are marked with a red "*" symbol - asterisk.

All fields except Collateral Type and Pledgor are filled in manually.

Collateral Type is selected from the corresponding directory, which must be pre-filled from the Admin menu - Directories - Collateral Types. Each collateral type has its own properties, which also need to be filled in.

The Pledgor field uses data from Clients. The Pledgor must be previously added to the client list using the Clients button. After filling in all required data, click the "Save" button.

In an already saved collateral, a "Create Loan Application" link is available. Clicking it opens a loan application form where the Pledgor acts as the Client, and the created collateral serves as security.
