Loan Category

Loan category reflects the loan collateral. This directory lists categories and assigns points depending on whether the loan category is positive or negative. It is used for asset classification for provision calculation.

To view the directory, go to: Directories => Loan Category.

To add a new category, click the "Add" button. In the opened form, enter the category name and assign a specific point value to it. Click "Save".

Loan category is one of three directories, along with Financial Condition Types and Delinquency Levels directories, whose point totals are used to determine asset classification by points.
