Stopping and Resuming the Accrual of Penalties and Interest on the Contract

In the Brainysoft system, you can stop and resume the process of accruing penalties and interest on a Contract.

This can be done by going to Contract - Financial Information - Adjustments.

In the window that opens, you need to select an operation depending on your needs:

Specify the process start date and click the "Start Process" button:

!!! Important: the process cannot be started earlier than the Last Operation Date.

Upon successful process launch, the system will display a notification "Process successfully started", and the operation itself will be reflected on the Financial Information tab in the Detailed Operation Breakdown section.

Similarly, operations for starting interest accrual, penalty accrual, as well as stopping interest accrual and penalty accrual are performed.
