Operation "Transfer Prepayment to Overpayment"

The "Transfer Prepayment to Overpayment" operation reduces the prepayment amount for principal or interest and writes off the overpayment. This operation is necessary for closing the contract, as the balance must equal 0.

In the example below, the prepayment for principal is greater than the debt. To offset the prepayment and close the contract, this excess must be transferred to the overpayment.

Go to the Adjustments menu and select the "Transfer Prepayment to Overpayment" operation. Set the date and click the "Start Process" button.
